looking to manufacture valves in India
A Belgian company was looking to
manufacture valves in India in collaboration with an identified
Indian supplier. Our role was to negotiate the joint venture
terms and assist in establishing the manufacturing unit.
Lack of understanding of Indian business and cultural differences
were visible when on some basic questions we found that
the Indian supplier did not have the financial resources
to invest. We identified certain other potential partners,
conducted due diligence and assisted in takeover of a manufacturing
unit.
