30% on payments made to the client. With intricate treaty
planning and interpretation we were able to obtain refund
of entire tax paid for our client, which was exceeding US
$ 0.25 million.

An infrastructure company based in
Europe, which had quoted for a project in India, had considerable
exposure to unanticipated corporate tax in India. Our international
tax advice, which involved considerable re-structuring of
their operations and sub-contracting the work to a third
